MEET THE WOOD ANDÂ WILD TEAM
Our team of trained teachers and therapists are all passionate about Forest School and the benefits it can bring to children, young people and adults alike.
Find out more about us all below:

TONI
Founder
Toni founded Wood and Wild as a way to share her passion for encouraging children (and adults!) to enjoy the great outdoors and reap the benefits of learning in a natural environment.
As a Forest School Leader and primary school teacher, Toni has spent the more recent years of her career empowering SEND children, promoting the importance of mental health and using Forest School to enhance education.

LAWRENCE
Lawrence is our legendary drama teacher. Initially working as a trained english teacher, he is now empowering children with dyslexia through the power of drama and physicality.

HANNAH
Hannah has spent most of her career working in the realm of paediatric occupational therapy and is the wonderful mastermind behind our interactive story-time toddler sessions.

HAYLEY
Hayley is our fantastic therapist. She currently spends most of her time working with teenagers - an area that is close to her heart.

KATY
After 15 years of primary teaching, Katy took the leap into forest school. As a EYFS & KS1 specialist, she now enjoys sharing her love of nature with 3-11 year olds in local schools, seeing the impact getting outside the classroom can have.

LISA
Lisa has worked with children and young people as a project worker, INA and TA for 20 years . She is a Forest School Leader and is passionate about the importance of everyone being able to access an inclusive, outdoor space in which to learn , play and thrive.

HEIDI JO
Heidi Jo has been a freelance forest leader for the past 4 years, working with a range of ages and groups. Her passion is to get people outside; connecting to our wonderful earth and seeing how lucky we are.

KRISTINA
Kristina has worked with children and young people for over 12 years, with a focus on 1:1 support within nursery, school and outside of educational settings. She is passionate about creating more inclusive and empowering spaces for disabled people and runs our monthly ASC sessions.

PHIL
Having spent 12 twelve years as a secondary school music teacher, Phil qualified as a level 3 Forest School Leader and bushcraft instructor to pursue a full time career working with young people and adults in the outdoors. Phil is happiest when outdoors; engaging young people with the natural world and teaching practical outdoor/wilderness skills.
